Implementing the National Cervical Screening Program Renewal: Getting it right
The Cancer Screening Unit, Preventive Health Branch of Queensland Health, in collaboration with Iris Education, invite you to this free update om the Sunshine Coast on Saturday 17th March 2018. You may participate in person or by joining through live streaming on your own computer or device. When: Saturday 17th March 2018, 8.30am to 4.30pm Where: The Hub auditorium at Sunshine Coast University Hospital, 6 Doherty St, Birtinya QLD 4575. A total of 64 health professionals attended the day in person, predominately GPs, GP registrars, nurses, public/sexual health workers and midwives. A further 67 people participated in the Forum online via live streaming. The morning sessions will provide a detailed review of the rationale and evidence driving the changes, and consideration of issues, challenges and lessons learned already in applying the changes in practice.
The afternoon sessions will use interactive case studies and role plays to consider specific management issues with a facilitated panel discussion providing the opportunity to ask questions and assist participants to build knowledge and confidence to discuss the changes with their patients.

Full day attendance attracts 12 Category 2 RACGP QI&CPD points. Attendees have the choice of registering to attend the event located at The Hub auditorium at Sunshine Coast University Hospital or to live stream the event.
Cost: Free the event is generously funded by Queensland Health.
