Third Party Funding
Within the principles of transparency and accountability, any education activity offered by Iris Education is able to be funded or sponsored by third party entities. There are four ways this may be achieved:
- The third party entity pays the registration for an individual to attend an education activity. Where this occurs, disclosure that registration is paid by the third party is required.
- The third party funds Iris Education directly for a pre-determined number of positions within an education activity and these positions are advertised as scholarship positions with set criteria (eg must be from a rural area etc)
- The third party funds Iris Education for the full cost of staging an education activity for a set number of participants in a set location. Where this occurs, disclosure that the education activity is funded through the third party is required.
- The third party provides a grant to Iris Education to enable it to undertake education that is outside its monetary capacity and scope. An example may be to stage a particular education activity in a rural or remote locations.
